Shanti Ambassadors

The Shanti Ambassadors are a group of trained volunteers that work to promote Shanti’s life-enhancing HIV/AIDS programs and services and tell the HIV/AIDS story to the greater Orange County community, by attending speaking engagements, health fairs and many other community activities. Shanti Ambassador Volunteer Positions Include:

Lead Volunteer
• Coordinate programs and activities with Shanti staff
• Assist in volunteer training
• Provide support and assistance to other volunteers

Presenter
• Conduct Shanti presentations
• Promote Shanti volunteer opportunities and client services

Promoter
• Schedule Shanti presentations in a variety of venues
• Establish contacts in service organizations and corporations

Advocate
• Represent Shanti in Orange County legislative advocacy efforts
• Assist in guiding community leaders in effective policy making

*Presentations from the Shanti Ambassadors can be arranged for any size group free of charge.
