Shanti is pleased to welcome Positive Steps, an Alcoholics Anonymous Meeting for the HIV+ in Recovery on Mondays from 6:30pm to 7:30pm at Shanti Orange County. Meeting Format: AA’s 12 Steps and 12 Traditions Book Study.

Note: Outside Doors Automatically lock at 7:00pm. Bring your own AA 12 & 12 Book. A limited number of loaner books available on-site.

HIV Group

Shanti is pleased to host two weekly therapy groups designed to provide facilitation and peer support for people living with HIV.  The goal is for each member to both share their life experiences to receive support, as well as provide support for others in the group.  These groups are facilitated by therapists who also can provide education and a therapeutic atmosphere for those who participate. South County Rainbow Group

South County Rainbow Group is an engaging social drop-in group for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, and questioning (LGBTQ) and allied youth ages 13-18. This group meets the first Friday of the month from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at Shanti OC. South County Rainbow Group provides social, interactive, and educational group activities and events in South County and the greater Orange County area. Youth are able to connect with their peers in a safe and supportive environment facilitated by LGBT Center OC staff and adult mentor facilitators. There is no cost to participate.

Breaking Binaries Transgender Youth Group

Breaking Binaries is a new social drop-in group for transgender, gender non-conforming, non-binary, and gender-questioning youth ages 13-18. This group meets the third Friday of the month from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at Shanti OC. Similar to South County Rainbow Group, Breaking Binaries invites youth from the transgender community to get involved and participate in engaging discussions, social activities and community events in South County and the greater Orange County area. Trans youth are able to connect with their peers in a safe and supportive environment facilitated by LGBT Center OC staff and adult mentor facilitators. There is no cost to participate.

Please note: This is a closed space facilitated by and for transgender, gender non-conforming, non-binary, and gender-questioning youth. Allies are respectfully asked to keep the space for trans people only and visit South County Rainbow Group instead.
