The Laguna Hills office is a straightforward run south. From central and west Irvine, the I-5 corridor drops you into Laguna Hills; from the Spectrum and east Irvine, SR-133 and the I-405 / SR-73 interchange reach the same approach.

Parking is free and on site, with no structure to circle and no validation to chase. Our hours are Monday through Friday, 9 am to 5 pm Pacific, so if scheduling around work is the hard part, say so at intake.

Counseling here is a professionally facilitated process for exploring thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, with the goal of improving quality of life. In practice that means working out the causes, influences, and triggers behind what is happening at home, in a relationship, or at work, and building coping strategies that hold up when you are not in the room.

Irvine is a city of long commutes, high-pressure workplaces, competitive schools, and people who moved here for a job and left their support network somewhere else. Anxiety and burnout show up in that context constantly. Our clinicians see teens, adults, couples, and families, and all of our services are LGBTQ-affirming.

A recurring reason Irvine families reach out is documentation. A school has asked for something formal, and a general therapy appointment will not produce it. A psychological evaluation is a different process: interviews, questionnaires, and standardized tests administered by a licensed psychologist, ending in a detailed written report with results, conclusions, and practical, individualized recommendations. Findings can inform treatment as well as school or work accommodations.

We assess ages 6 and up for specific learning disorders, ADHD, mood concerns, executive functioning, personality disorders, thought disorders, trauma (PTSD), and Autism Spectrum Disorder. Testing happens across several sessions over roughly two to four weeks and is conducted in person in Laguna Hills. This is the one service that cannot be delivered online, so budget the travel time up front.

There is also a clear limit worth knowing before you call. We do not provide disability assessments, parenting assessments or anything related to divorce, or forensic and court assessments such as custody, risk, or competency evaluations. For counseling, telehealth is available throughout California, which matters more in Irvine than in most cities. Students leave for a term and come back, professionals travel, and parents cannot reliably free up a mid-afternoon block to drive south and back. Telehealth keeps continuity through all of that.

With no coverage, low-cost fees start at $65. Fees may be subsidized for people who are uninsured and living with HIV/AIDS, and HIV case management is free.
